Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Accidental death and dismemberment (also known as AD&D) is a term used to describe an insurance policy paying benefits to the beneficiary if the insured dies, loses a bodily appendage, loses sight, or becomes permanently paralyzed due to an accident. In the event of accidental death, this insurance will pay benefits in addition to any life insurance held by the insured. Death by illness, suicide, or natural causes is generally not covered by AD&D. Although you may have received offers for AD&D insurance from your credit card companies, mortgage holder, financial institutions, or other organizations, it's important not to confuse this type of insurance with standard life insurance, and it's especially important not to rely solely on AD&D to provide for dependents in the event of the insured’s death.

At Chase Sensale, we understand, without the benefit of experienced attorneys well versed in not only insurance law, developing case law, but also legislative trends, the potential beneficiaries of such policies may not realize the full potential of their claim for benefits. At ChaseSensale, we are dedicated to ensuring the most expeditious delivery of benefits through the immediate and careful filing of claims.

Chase Sensale can recognize the role AD&D policies play with concurrent claims for workers’ compensation, short/long term disability, and social security disability benefits. Let Chase Sensale explain the most common mistakes made during the application for benefits possibly resulting in significant delays in the processing of these claims. AD&D policies seem relatively inexpensive and easy to understand, but what pitfalls await those making claims for benefits?

At Chase Sensale, we do not profess to have all the answers, however, with more than fifty years of combined legal experience between the partners, we strive every single day to keep you informed, with access to your electronic file 24/7. At Chase Sensale, our goal is to make the application/appeal process as pleasant as possible for you, the potential beneficiaries. Contact our office now for a no cost initial consultation. After all, the time is now, and by calling Chase Sensale, you make the crucial decision to not go it alone.
