NYCIRB Updates Average Hourly Wage Table

 

The New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board has updated its average hourly wage table and associated endorsement WC 31 03 19G.

 

NYCIRB said in a regulatory notice Wednesday that the updates have been approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services and will take effect on Oct. 1, 2013.

 

A study by the board of the appropriateness of the wage table indicated changes were warranted. The initial wage for credit under the table was increased from $15.50 to a new average hourly wage of $23.25.

 

NYCIRB President Monte Almer said all other wage intervals have been updated accordingly.
