Five Doctors Resign Authorizations to Treat Injured Workers

 

Five New York doctors have resigned their State Workers' Compensation Board authorizations to treat injured workers or perform independent medical examinations.

 

SWCB Chairman Robert Beloten said Monday that Dr. Timothy Roche of Binghamton, N.Y., resigned his authorization to treat injured workers effective July 24.

 

Dr. Christopher DeCamp, of Albany, N.Y., resigned his authorization to treat injured workers and to perform independent medical examinations effective July 24.

 

Dr. Peter Oliva, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., resigned his authorization to treat injured workers effective July 22.

 

Dr. Michael Haben, of Rochester, N.Y., resigned his authorization to treat injured workers effective Aug. 5, and Dr. Pavani Tipirneni, of Rocky Point, N.Y., resigned his authorization to treat injured workers effective Aug. 6.

 

Beloten said reports submitted for services performed prior to the effective date of the resignations should be considered valid.
