 BWC Launches Implementation of Business Process Re-Engineering:

 

 

The state Board of Workers’ Compensation has moved into the implementation phase of its Business Process Re-Engineering initiative launched last August, K. Brian Collins, the BPR project sponsor, announced in a June update on the BWC’s website.

 

Collins reported that the first set of BPR initiatives will be "medical fee schedule, payor compliance and a medical billing and reporting portal."

 

Collins also announced that Deena Jones has become the new BPR Program Manager.

 

"In June and July we will be conducting a series of roadshows in our district offices to kick off the BPR implementation, give insight into the initiatives, speak with external stakeholders and identify next steps," Collins wrote.
